We typically do Thanksgiving with my family (because Tess' family is mostly off shooting things then) and Christmas with Tess' family, and that was the case this year. Her brother and family and he dad were all in town for several days (her mom already lives in Dallas) and everyone was able to spend quality time together.
Claire and their daughter Sierra are only 3 months apart in age and act like best friends when together (they have known each other all their lives, so not surprising). Their son Joey is a cute little guy, and idolizes our twins. Tess made a fantastic meal. Much Kinect was played. I escaped and went for a run. Good times all around.

My 2011 triathlon season was ... um ... not so great. Between starting a new demanding job and having back issues while swimming, I failed to complete nearly as many triathlons as usual. Like none. I did some running races and a couple bike rallies, but no tris. Sad- first time 10 years I didn't do a triathlon that year.
